Arctics, Winehouse Make Mercury Prize Shortlist (Billboard)
The Money Shot: Arctic Monkeys and Winehouse have been installed by William Hill bookmakers as early joint favorites to take the prize, with odds of 4/1. Dizzee Rascal has odds of 8/1. After bagging last year's prize, Alex Turner's Sheffield rockers Arctic Monkeys could be the first band ever to win two Mercury Music Prizes for their second effort 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', which hit the top of the British charts in its first week of release.

MS: Following shows on boats, buses, bridges and classrooms, Jack and Meg White took to the stage on George Street in St. John's and played a single note - reportedly a C-sharp - before announcing they have "now officially played in every province and territory in Canada" and leaving the stage.
