Today's new stories...

U2, Foos, Others Honor Cash

Cuomo Back to Finish Degree

Yeah Yeah Yeahs Leak New CD Details
The Money Shot: The untitled record is due for release in March this year. Speaking to fans online, singer Karen O revealed the titles of two songs, and said some of the older tracks worked on in the sessions may still see the light of day, despite not featuring on the album. She told a fan website: "Songs to be included on the new album include 'Cheated Hearts' and 'Honey Bear'. All the rest are new tracks. Some older tracks such as 'Down Boy' used in a special EP, but only MAYBE."

Death Cab Selling Out?
The Money Shot: Walla said he doesn't feel the band is "selling out" by allowing songs to be used in mainstream venues as long as "outlets don't become more important than the fact that we've been a band for eight years, touring and making records for a long time".

Arctic Monkeys Click with Online Fans
The Money Shot: "There is a massive online community out there," says Laurence Bell, the owner of Domino. "They are constantly exchanging tracks, passing it on, raving about it - check this out, go to this gig. They are bypassing traditional marketing routes, and the mainstream media, which is what major record companies have a grasp of and a hold on. Nobody's telling them to do it; that's the key. Basically, these kids are making the decisions."

and last (and probably least)...

Village People's Cop now among Most Wanted
The Money Shot: Legal troubles for the Village People's original frontman and cop, Victor Willis, mounted Thursday when he failed to show up in court for his sentencing on felony drug and weapons charges.
