Gina, I can't make any promises on this... let me think about it, ok? Weeding through all the MP3s posted out there to find the ones that would be most relevant to my listeners takes a surprising amount of time -- 30 to 45 minutes a day, at a minimum, without adding a lot of additional writing time to put each individual link into some greater context. My hope would be that the ultimate value to your blog would be that some of my listeners would visit it to find the songs they're interested in and find that you've added value with the additional information you've posted. If you're doing that consistently, that'll make them go straight to you and cut out the middle guy (ME!) in the long haul. My value in this whole thing is that I'm taking quite a bit of my own time researching and reading blogs to find the music and artists on my webcast's playlist and creating links to those assorted blogs so my listeners can find things that are very targeted and relevant to them. Don't underestimate the time and value tied into those lists created to help people find you... after all that's how Yahoo started, right? You've got an excellent blog & great musical taste, so I'm sure you're going to pick up readers from my listener base!
