Well, Wednesday's in the books here at SXSW. I got to see Lily Allen, The Automatic, The Sunshine Underground, Jamie T, The Mountain Goats and Blonde Redhead. Lily Allen earned rock cred points by coming on stage with a smoke and a Bud and for ripping on NME, the evening's host, calling them uh..."spineless c-nts" . The evening was mostly filled with solid performances (except Jamie T... yawn!) As often happens, the night was stolen by the unsuspecting with The Automatic and The Sunshine Underground turning in the best sets.
