Tweedy's Wingin' ItThe Money Shot: Since he has no bandmates in tow who need to learn songs that were co-written and/or recorded by different sets of musicians on 1995's "A.M.,'' 1996's "Being There'' or 1999's "Summerteeth,'' Tweedy can just wing it onstage, and cull songs from the band's entire catalogue - not to mention songs he wrote for Uncle Tupelo in the 1980s and early '90s.
"This way, I can do any of the 200 or so songs I've written over the years,'' said Tweedy by phone from his manager's office in Chicago. "And it allows me to change it around every night, which is also part of the appeal - it'll be fun to just get up there without a firm set list.''
