Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Fiona Apple Also "Under The Radar"

New Pantheon announces their nominations for "most outstanding under-the-radar album". To be eligible for the award, an album must not have been certified as gold (500,000 copies shipped) by the RIAA in the period of July 1, 2004, to October 30, 2005. The nominations were made by celebrity judges including Beck, Elton John, Elijah Wood, Margaret Cho, John Legend, Ric Ocasek, Shirley Manson, Suzanne Vega and others. Almost all of them have appeared on the Musical Justice playlist over the past year. Here's the list of nominees:

  • Animal Collective - Feels
  • Antony and the Johnsons - I am a Bird Now
  • Arcade Fire - Funeral
  • Bloc Party - Silent Alarm
  • Death Cab For Cutie - Plans
  • Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine
  • Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak
  • M.I.A. - Arular
  • Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
  • The Decemberists - Picaresque
