U2 Can Be A Killer

Black, Sweet & Others Go Back To School
The Money Shot - But if you want to hear a bunch of indie rockers covering 80s soundtrack hits, then scoop up High School Reunion: A Tribute to Those Great 80s Films when it hits stores on December 1. Featuring tracks by Frank Black, the Dresden Dolls, Kristen Hersh, Matthew Sweet, John P. Strohm of the Blake Babies, and many more, the compilation is the brainchild of power pop labels American Laundromat Records and Face Down Records.

Coming Soon: White Stripes 'Ghost' EP
The Money Shot - The White Stripes will on Dec. 6 release the EP "Walking With a Ghost" via Third Man/V2, featuring a cover of Tegan & Sara's title song plus previously unreleased live versions of "Same Boy You've Always Known," "As Ugly As I Seem," "The Denial Twist" and "Screwdriver." "Ghost" will debut Nov. 14 via Apple's iTunes Music Store.

QOTSA Talk About The Future
The Money Shot - Homme says that the UK was the first country to embrace QOTSA because of its "dry sense of humor." For a band that describes its music as "equal parts stupid and cerebral without pretension," dry humor is a must. That and lots and lots of, um, substances.
